There is no single organization that “runs baseball in Brampton.” BMBI runs local youth programs and the Brampton Royals; COBA organizes much regional competition; Baseball Ontario is the provincial governing body; Baseball Canada is the national governing body; the City of Brampton manages municipal facilities and recreation functions; adult leagues operate independently.

Youth baseball: BMBI and the Royals
BMBI is the core local youth organization. Its recreational program serves broad participation, while the Brampton Royals name is used for competitive travel baseball. Families should use BMBI for registration, current teams, tryouts, coach contacts and local program policies.
Regional competition: COBA
The Central Ontario Baseball Association (COBA) is a regional competition layer. Its constitution identifies a role in regulating competition, determining COBA champions and representatives for OBA championships, and acting as a liaison between member organizations and the Ontario association.
